My Projects
Here are some examples of my previous projects
Research for Commonweal Housing
A feasibility study (2020), conducted with my colleague, Lisa Young, exploring the potential for host housing options to be more widely available for women. Methods involved desk research into models of host housing good practice, interviews with stakeholders from organisations in the homelessness and women’s sector, as well as hosts and women guests. The report set out an innovative partnership model for host housing and women’s sector services to provide women specific host housing.
Pathway of Change for Bristol Mind
In 2025 I worked collaboratively with Bristol Mind to develop a Pathway of Change for the whole organisation. The process involved interactive stakeholder workshops to develop the Pathway and evidence generation activities such as beneficiaries interviews and a staff survey to ensure a robust, evidence-based and inclusive approach. The Pathway is helping Bristol Mind to articulate it’s impact, tell it’s story, measure it’s impact and inform strategic planning.
Evaluation for Lifting Limits
An evaluation (2019) for Lifting Limits of their pilot whole school project in primary schools which aims to challenge gender stereotyping and inequality. The evaluation helped Lifting Limits to clearly define and articulate their impact, and promote their programme via national media and to funders. The evaluation included: development of an evaluation framework, pre and post tools to measure indicators, questionnaires to explore the impact of particular Lifting Limits interventions; and qualitative interviews.
Fund Impact for Homeless Link
Alongside my colleague, Lisa, I conducted research for Homeless Link into the insights and impact of their End Women’s Homelessness Fund (2021). The research involved gathering and analysing primarily qualitative data from grantees to understand impact and learning across the fund. The report analysed learning across key themes, including what constitutes gender and trauma informed practice, to build on for future programmes.
